READ BEFORE BIDDING: EXPORT LICENCE REQUIRED

The shipment of the Lots abroad is subject to obtaining a document necessary for the export certificate of free circulation or a declaration of value (so-called DVAL), based on the Code of Cultural Heritage and subsequent provisions, where applicable.

Obtaining the necessary documents for the export of the Lots is the sole responsibility of the Buyer; The Auction House may, at the request of the Purchaser and upon payment of the purchase invoice, proceed with the request for the licenses or the presentation of the declaration of value upon payment of a fee of Euro 50 for each requests.

If the Buyer does not want to entrust the management of the export file to the Auction House, he can contact a forwarder of his choice, after signing a Manleva and waiving any liability in favor of the Auction House.

In any case Gonnelli, acting on behalf of the customer, cannot be held responsible for the delay or refusal to obtain the documentation necessary for export, the administrative times of which are required exclusively by the Export Office.


How we will manage your international shipment

 This is a brief summary of the way we will take care of your international shipment. Please read it carefully so you will know what to expect in the days following the auction!

 1. You will receive a first automatic email which contains the proforma invoice with the lots you won during the auction and the auction & shipping fees. We usually arrange the sending of the proforma invoices at the latest three days after the last day of auction.

 2. At the same time, you will receive a second automatic email (URGENT: EXPORT LICENCE) in which we ask you if you are interested in our export licence request service. If so, you will receive a new proforma invoice which contains the fee for this service indicated as Extra charges.  Please consider that if the proforma invoice is not paid (including the cost for the export licence request) we will not proceed with the request.

3. We will take care of the export licence request on your behalf. Obtaining the necessary documents requires at least 40 days of waiting after the inspection by the Superintendence.

4. Once all the documents are released, we will send a third automatic email (EXPORT LICENCE READY) where we confirm you that we are ready to ship your purchase and we ask you to confirm your shipping address.

5. Entrusting the goods to the DHL or Fedex courier, you will receive a communication directly from the courier with the shipping number and the delivery date.

PERMESSO DI ESPORTAZIONE NECESSARIO PER LA SPEDIZIONE FUORI DALL'ITALIA DEI BENI ACQUISTATI IN ASTA
La spedizione dei beni al di fuori del territorio italiano è subordinata all’ottenimento di un attestato di libera circolazione, sulla base del D. Lgs 42/2004 e successive disposizioni.
L'ottenimento dei documenti necessari per l’esportazione dei beni è di responsabilità del cliente aggiudicatario; Gonnelli può, su richiesta del cliente e previo pagamento della fattura di acquisto, procedere alla richiesta delle licenze dietro pagamento di 50 € per ciascuna opera oggetto della denuncia.
Qualora il cliente non volesse affidare a Gonnelli la gestione della pratica di esportazione potrà rivolgersi a uno spedizioniere di sua fiducia, previa firma di una manleva di responsabilità.
In ogni caso Gonnelli, muovendosi per conto del cliente, non può essere ritenuto responsabile in merito al ritardo o al diniego dell’ottenimento della documentazione necessaria per l’esportazione, i cui tempi amministrativi dipendono esclusivamente dall’Ufficio Esportazione.
